Transportation is the movement of people and goods from one place to another. It plays a crucial role in connecting communities,facilitating trade, and enabling economic growth. From cars and buses to trains and planes, transportation provides a means for individuals and businesses to access opportunities and resources across the globe.

The transportation sector is a major distributor to greenhouse gas emission, particularly carbon dioxide from the burning fossil fuels. These emission traps heat in the atmosphere, leading to global warming and climate change. Also the infrastructure required for transportation, such as roads and highway often leads to deforestation and habitat destruction. This can disrupt ecosystem and biodiversity which has effect on climate regulation.
In an interview with Mr. James Tetteh, a student journalist on 24th November he said the effect of transportation such as exhaust fumes that are emitted from the tail pipes of cars, airplanes contains harmful pollutants such as nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxides which causes air pollution and is also hazardous to the lives of human beings.
In another interview with Miss Efua Asiedu, she stated that the fumes from cars and other transportation means causes respiratory disease such as lung cancer, Asthma, pneumonia which in the long run makes individuals to waste money on hospital bills.
